Restore fails !!

Thread needs solution

I was all set to purchase today but I wanted to try a restore first. The only thing your restore has done is wiped the working partition from the Mac and restored nothing.

I followed the directions for both cloud based restore and from an external drive.

First I created the recovery media and booted info that disk (even though I was told I could just download the missing files from the cloud - which didn't work). Once I booted and selected the backup I wanted (once with a file on my network and once with one from your cloud).

Both times the only source and destination I am given is Disk 1 HD 462.82 GB which when selected as source says "no value" for destination. When I select recovery or EFI I can't pick anything but the space they are on.

The first time it appeared to be running but just erased the main disk. Now I can't do anything and your system won't let me chat either.

Is this how your software is supposed to work ?!

I'm sorry I tried to add the photo on the orginal post but it wouldn't allow me to edit

I did notice that in the picture it says disk 1 as an item on the list but the drive here is disk0s2. But I would think one would be the source and the current one the location to restore ! Help :(
