Windows 10 installing to a new machine
i made a backup of my with ati2015. I have been trying to migrate the install to a new computer. It's been awhile since I have upgraded my ATI. I made the bootable universal restore. I cannot select a OS. i did restore the image to the new computer. the tried to run the universal to make it boot able. I am doing something wrong any suggestions? I have read all kb's articles having to do with the new restore separated into 2 parts.
Thanks

Shadowsports,
Starting with True Image 2014 build 6688, Universal Restore is now a separate operation.
Jerimiah,
Are you using the latest version of Universal Restore? There was an update on July 29. I haven't tested it yet, but I know the previous version didn't recognize Windows 10.

Joey,
Indeed, Aug of 2014. I had forgotten. Thank you
Jerimiah,
6613 was released on the 29th of last month. It included the latest UR update. The UR software has been expanded. Previously it relied on your ability to supply drivers for chipset and storage controller. The new add-on will also search the default system directory typically /windows/inf and will replace ACPI, mass storage, USB and network adapter drivers if found/available. The drivers need to be in a extracted format. *.inf, *.sys or *.oem extensions.
Exe files can be unpacked using 7-zip or you can unpack from a command prompt >filename.exe /a
You can specify a network location using a UNC path or use the add driver option to manually specify a location. The software will automatically search sub folders if they are contained in the specified directory path. Let us know if you need more help.

I am requesting your advice on reinstalling your product on my existing Dell Latitude E5430 laptop, currently running Windows 7 Enterprise. I will be wiping this personal machine clean, due to changing my employer, and installing Windows 8, and then Windows 10, as available. This is a 64-bit machine.

There is no difference between Windows 8, 8.1 and 10 with the latest build, in terms of installation.
Simply reinstall the product, and go through the activation process.
