Acronis keeps doing backups that dont exist and does not display tasks I created

Thread needs solution

Hello,

I have the latest Acronis 2015 True Image Version installed and for some time now it is having some heavy issues.

When I create a task or a scheduled task for backups save it and close Acronis, when I open it back up the task is gone from the UI. I cant see it anywhere. Yet when I look in the folder where the scripts are the task is there. I already updated Acronis and reinstalled the scheduler to repair it. Did not work.

Now the real big problem is something else. Acronis just does backups whenever it wants without there even being a task (OR a script!) I put all the script files in an "OLD" folder in the scripts folder so that Acronis would not find them but still it just does its backups (sometimes more than 30 differential backups a day even if I NEVER configured such a task at any given time!)

As I said I dont have any active tasks or any existing scripts that Acronis could pull these backups out of and yet it performs them. Is there a second scripts folder I dont know about? Would it help to reinstall the program or would the settings still persist after that?

I really need an answer, this is driving me crazy since I have to delete the backups manually every day and that is quite annyoing.

Now for some reason it has stopped to do the full-backups and just the task problem remains where I cant see created tasks even if I update the scheduler.

Some help would be nice here
