Unable to Install Plus Pack for Acronis True Home Image 2010

Hi,

I had Acronis True Home Image 2009. Today I purchased an Acronis bundle with Acronis True Home Image 2010 along with "Plus Pack for Acronis True Home Image 2010" and "Acronis Internet Security Suite 2010." I don't plan on using the Internet Security Suite as I have and am happy with Norton 360.

- I have a reasonably powerful Dell desktop with 4 gigs of ram.
- Vista 32 with all patches installed

Steps:

1) I installed Aconis True Home Image 2010 (build 7,046) [The new installed version removed True Home 2009, which is fine.]

2) Rebooted

3) Attempted to install Plus Pack for Acronis True Home Image 2010.

4) Got error message:

"To install Plus Pack for Acronis True Image Home 2010, the following component (English version) must be previously installed: Acronis True Home 2010 (13.0.6053)." Tried installing again with no success.

5) Rebooted computer again

6) Attempted to install Plus Pack for Acronis True Home Image 2010 with same error message

7) When I attempted to reinstall Aconis True Home Image 2010, I got the "Repair option" instead. I "repaired" my installation (nothing to repair as far as I know), and rebooted again.

8) Attempted to install Plus Pack for Acronis True Home Image 2010 with same error message. Tried installing again with no success.

I am able to open Acronis True Home Image 2010. It seems to run just fine. Shortly I will be creating backups with it.

As far as I know, I have done everything that a normal user should do to install new software.

What should I do now? What are my next steps?

Acronis True Home 2010 (13.0.6053) would lead me to believe you need to get the more recent version of the Plus Pack 7046.

Acronis True Image Home 2010 is build 7046.

The error message by Plus Pack for Acronis True Image Home 2010 is as follows:

To install Plus Pack for Acronis True Image Home 2010, the following component (English version) must be previously installed: Acronis True Home 2010 (13.0.6053)

I have no clue what it is referring to.  I have the most recent version of Acronis True Image Home 2010.  That is the first application that must be installed prior to installing Plus Pack for Acronis True Image Home 2010.  Given that I downloaded both applications today at the same time, I would hope that they are both current versions.  Because I am unable to install the Plus Pack, I have no idea what version it might be.

However, the installation files are as follows:

Acronis True Image Home 2010: TrueImage2010_s_en.exe
Plus Pack for Acronis True Image Home 2010:  TrueImage2010PlusPack.6029_s_en.exe

I hope this message clarifies my versions and the error message.  I am still looking for assistance.

I logged into my account and just downloaded a new file:

Plus Pack for Acronis True Image Home 2010: TrueImage2010PlusPack.7046_s_en.exe

Here's a good post. I suspect that my concerns will soon be fixed.
