Acronis True Image Home 2010 Trial Version

Thread needs solution

I have Windows 7 - 64 bit. After I downloaded the trial version, it won't RUN. I've tried different
compatibility settings to no avail. The only answer I get is Acronis is NOT COMPATIBLE.
The Acronis build is 13.0.0.7046
I've used Acronis for years on Windows XP and I really like it but how can I buy for Windows 7 -
64 bit if the trial version won't work?
I have dial-up and it took me 9 hrs. ande 59 min. to download the trial version.
IT WON'T RUN.

Hello Sir,

Thank you for posting your question, I will be happy to help.

Most probably, the installation file is corrupted. You can easily check this using a special utility:

- Download a free MD5 and SHA-1 checksum utility from this page;
- Run the application. Browse and select the installation package you have downloaded;
- The MD5 value for the trial version of  Acronis True Image Home 2010 (build #7046, English version) must be a24a6ea115a25d504ce2f2794e3297ca
If the MD5 value is not a24a6ea115a25d504ce2f2794e3297ca, you need to re-download your Acronis product.
If the MD5 value is the same one, please let us know the exact error messages that appear during the installation.

We are looking forward to hearing back from you at your earliest convenience. If the provided information is not clear or if you have any other questions do not hesitate to post them and we will be glad to answer.

Thank you.

Thanks Oleg Lee
When I used MDS and SHA-1 Utility I clicked copy and paste and than verify. On each one it said It Matched.
Anyway the numbers don't match the numbers you gave so I guess the download is corrupt.
I've borrowed a high speed connection and I'll try the download again.

Numbers you posted = a24a6ea115a25d504ce2f2794e3297ca
MD5 = 11B9EF0016A1991C59C27A4C617A85F8
SHA-1 = 089487DD481F7981361CFFE979E12C8A318A342B

haycg,
I used dialup for many many years and until just recently--when the telephone company offered DSL for something only a little more than dialup.

Anyway, whenever I needed to download a really large file, I would visit the local library or visit the grandkids and use their cable/internet connection. My experience was any download longer than an hour would be corrupt.

As best as I can tell Acronis True Image Home 2010 is now working OK. I borrowed my neighbors
Verison and downloaded a good copy.
I still don't understand the numbers that don't match that Oleg Lee gave.
Oleg gave = a24a6ea115a25d504ce2f2794e3297ca
MDS verify = B13A82E35E5C10588A8DB5604872259F = This copy of Acronis is good and a match.
All well that ends well.
I probably will let this copy expire and buy Acronis on a CD.

Hello haycg,

Thank you for posting.

The correct MD5 value for the trial version of Acronis True Image Home 2010 is a24a6ea115a25d504ce2f2794e3297ca

You have obtained another value because of some kind of desynchronization between our servers. Thank you for the hint, we will fix the issue as soon as possible.

Please do not hesitate to ask additional questions if the provided information is not clear or you need a further assistance.

Thank you.
