Thread needs solution

I have just installed Windows 10 and am suffering from system freezes. I have been told that TI may be the culpret. Has anyone else experienced system freezes in relationto TI

Hello Martin, I run TI 2014 under Windows 10 and it works perfectly; So far anyway.

Peter, I am trying to make a clon from my HD to a Kingston SSD. My laptop runs windows 10 but when the clone process restart I can not see any activity with Acronis program. The new Kingston drive turn off its indicator light.
What can I doing wrong?

Thanks for your attention

I'm sorry Hermilo but I have never cloned a disc, all I ever do is make a manual image of my SSD twice a week to an external USB HDD. I used to use enclosures (Which need their own power supply) until a fellow persuaded me to try the Toshiba 200GB USB only connection, works as fast as an enclosure. Apologies for not being able to help with your problem.

Guys,
2014 is not officially certified for use with windows 10. This means that for some it may work, but for others it won't. Many have been successful using 2014 boot media to make images or clones of a Windows 10 OS. Some even have it installed/working under windows 10. The fact remains however, that this version is not certified to work in this environment. Each environment is different. OEM environments might be unique and users often do not disclose information about their hardware or environment making their issue easy to identify or diagnose.

Because MS did not make the "free" upgrade to windows 10 pain-free, like allowing a fresh install from the get go, and not requiring an upgrade first, many software vendors (not just Acronis) have been working feverishly to mitigate compatibility issues with versions of their software and windows 10. Why, because everybody has something slightly different. Again, what works for some, doesn't mean it will work for everyone. And we all know that OS upgrades are not preferred to a clean install. More times than not, something "breaks". If you want certified support for windows 10, you need version 2015 or >. Your mileage may vary.

Thank you shadowsports, for your interesting information.
I received acronis 2014 with the hyperx kit upgrade from Kingston to replace the HD in my laptop. Now with windows 10 the SSD upgrade is not so easy.

Hermilo

I did a reinstall of TI 2014 in windows 10. TI 2016 would not install. 2014 appears to load and run, but I get "queued" when I try to save an backup folder. Attempt to load 2015 tells me to abort, uninstall.
I have current loadable versions of all three programs on my machine.

Bonnell Frost- I'm afraid I must wait for a better TI version or return to a previous windows :-(
Thanks for your information
