Creating an Acronis Rescue isk

Thread needs solution

I am test driving Acronis 2016 on a Windows 10 machine. I need to restore that machine, and the Acronis Bootable Rescue Disk does not work, so I have been trying to create a WinPe-Based media with Acronis Plug-in--but unsuccessfully after several hours. I have downloaded the required 2 files and opened them but every time I try to create WinPe based rescue disk I am told to download the Acronis Media Add-in, which I have done numerous times. Where do I save the Acronis Media Add-in, and what do I do with it once I have it where it should be.?

Once you download the add-in you have to install it (find the file, right-click, then 'Run As Administrator'). It will only install if there is an activated version of ATI 2016 installed. It is also advisable to ensure that both ATI and the media add-in have the same build number.

I have an activated ATI 2016 installed. I have downloaded the Acronis Media Add-in, but when I right click the file, I get no option to "Run As Administrator," so when I run the file, it does not install. What next?

Hello,
FYI
I tried to install the Media Add on file and also received an installation error that the file could not be accessed....
I had the file stored on my data storage disk. I moved it to the C: Drive (Downloads) , re-executed the file and it installed without error.

I have the file on C: drive in the Acronis folder. When I click n it, it seems to open but instead takes me to the "Win-Pe based media with Acronis plug-in," screen, where I'm given the opportunity to download the "Acronis media addon." which I've already done.
