"Back Up Now" does nothing
Click to your hearts content and back up now still does nothing. I am using windows 10, Acronis 2015, build 6613. The green back up now hotspot just sits there mocking me. Any ideas? I miss the good old days when Acronis just worked.
I have exactly the same problem.
I had the problem last week and ended up reinstalling Acronis 2015. All seemed OK - for a week or so. Now the problem is back.
What causes this? Is there a more permanent solution?
I had figured out to reinstall Acronis that seemed to get it working. I do not know what caused the problem nor if there is a permanent solution. However, I stopped using Acronis. The cost of a single incident was more than complete replacement with a known working product.
My computer was showing signs of a defect so the manufacture wanted to replace it while still under warranty. I needed one last working backup that was going to be used to recover into a new computer. In the end, I decided that I could not trust Acronis to do a complete backup and then restore without hassle. It seems too much functionality and control has been hidden the background, and too much coaxing is required to make backups work the way I needed. I decided to change products after being with Acronis since their beginning. If they had just left their product alone, I would still be with them.
Same problem here. Reinstalling Acronis gets the backups working for a few days but then it all just stops working again. I would bet my house that there are thousands of Acronis users who are oblivious to the fact that their backups have stopped working.
In Australia, consumer law states that if a product does not work as described then the consumer is entitled to a refund, I will be looking into getting a refund by contacting the ACCC.

some users have reported that the "back up now" works for them but only after A 20-30 SECOND DELAY.
