Restore my corrupt OS
Good Day,
I am using a trial version at the moment because I am looking for a suited software for my needs.
Correct me if I am wrong,
Does Acronis Backup and Recovery 11.5 be useful if:
- I have a full backup (I guess it was a .tib file)
- Then unit I backed up crashed after a day. Either Corrupt OS or HDD failure.
If that's the scenario, would the Acronis Backup and Recovery 11.5 be an help?
If yes, how and if No, what Acronis suited on that Problem?
Thank you

Thank you for your reply.
I have another questions....
1. Having 5 computers and 1 for me. I can backup the 5 units using Acronis Backup Advance but should I purchase Acronis Backup Advance or Acronis Backup only? Do you have multi license?
2. The business I am into have lots of OLD and standalone units (windows 2000). What Acronis product suited to our needs and what are the best practices?

Hi Eskie,
1. No, we don't have multilicenses. 1 license for 1 machine is needed. If you want to manage all machines from a centralised console (installed for example on your administrator machine), then you will need 5x Acronis Backup Advanced licenses.
2. For standlone machine you could use Acronis Backup products. For Workstation-systems suits Acronis Backup for PC and for Server-systems Acronis Backup for Windows Server. Here you will find differencies between Acronis Backup and Acronis Backup Advanced. And here the list of support operating systems.
For your convinince you may also want to use Acronis Backup Purchase wizard.
Thank you,
