Acronis True Image 2016 Update Failed to Build 5826
I'm getting a upgrade error "The system cannot move the file to a different disk drive". I've attached the log file to this post. Current install build is 5576. Any ideas?

Try to download the installer from the Acronis website and run it. If this fails, uninstall ATI, reboot and try again with the new update installer.

Exactly the same here. Do Acronis actually ever test their installers?

Same here and on multiple machines. Do they actually have some kind of quality assurance?

I bought four seats with Acronis 2015, the first for one seat on 9/5/2015 ane 3-seat on 12/17/2015. I notified Teppesh on case number 02619237 that I had to entirely wipe a hard drive and that ate up one of my seats. He said to call him when I was going to reinstall. The opportunity never presented itself. However, I still only have it installed on 2 towers and 1 laptop, that still leaves me with one seat I paid for that I'm not using. On one of my towers and on my laptop, when I try to install the update download for Acronis 2016 it says "AccessDenied"...why is that? And why should I have to pay support for an item that isn't installing? I can barely use my left hand at present and I am really frustrated that the same issue is on two machines. Both machines are running Win 7 64, with the laptop being Ultimate Pro.

Hi @Kathryn Bellifemine,
What are seats?
You can't upgrade from one version to another without paying for the 2016 Version, or contacting Acronis and speaking with them.
However, in order to install Acronis 2016 version, you need to uninstall Acronis True Image 2015 and reboot. Then install Acronis True Image 2016.
Then you wipe a Hard Drive, you can reinstall Acronis 2016 without problems, after reinstalling the operating system., first.
Acronis True Image 2015, had too many bugs to install Acronis True Image 2016 over top of 2015.

Kathryn, the 'Access Denied' issue with ATIH 2016 is mainly caused by security software blocking the install or upgrade programs. This is a known issue and has shown to be caused by a number of different security programs, such as Norton, BitDefender etc.
Assuming that you have a valid serial number for ATIH 2016
You can try doing the following:
1. Log in to your Acronis account and download the latest ATIH 2016 build 6571 installer program.
2. Shutdown your security software (antivirus, antimalware etc) and disconnect from the internet.
3. Run the ATIH 2016 installer as Administrator.
4. Restart / resume your security software / reconnect to the internet.
If the above does not help you resolve this, then you will need to do a clean install using the Acronis Cleanup Tool - link in my signature below.
