TI 2013 Plus will not automatically delete old backups
Using TI 2013 Plus I've been having trouble configuring the backups so that after 6 incrementals a new Full Backup is created, but it does not delete the old .tib files. I have set the backup scheme to store no more than 1 version chain, but TI keeps adding incrementals instead of deleting the old files and leaving one full backup. Am I missing something?

Marc,
What should be happening is when backup 2nd Full B2 is 8 days old, the chain 1 of first 7 files should delete.
If you are past that, then I would start over with a new task uising ghe same backup scheme but with a new task name.

Thanks...I actually want to delete the the prior full backup and its increments immediately. This should leave only the latest full backup. For some reason TI has started to add backup files ad infinitum. Should I change something from the settings?

Let me see a picture of your tib storage folder showing the old files which are not being deleted, or what is the name assiged to the most recent backup file
B?_S?_V?
How many backups are there?
If you are doing backups daily, then no deletion is scheduled until backup Full B2 is older than 8 days,
whcih means you will accumulate at least 15 backups before deletion is scheduled.
Elapsed day 1 countdown begins following successful completion of Backup #8 (Full B2).
Elapsed day 7 countdown ends when backup #8 (Full B2) is older than 7 days at which time oldest chain (chain 1=7 files) will be deleted. Subsequent future deletions will occur as each oldest chain of 7 files becomes older than 7 days.
If you want deletion to occur as soon as the Full B2 is completed, you need to set the cleanup settings to
either
Older than 1 day (more than 24 hrs must elapse after S7 and Full B2 will have been completed to delete the first chain.
or
Store no more than 1 recent version chain
which after Full B2 created, will cause deletion of all 7 files of B1 chain
If changes needed, create a new chain with a new name. Don't try to edit your non-working chain.
