Rescue Media

Thread needs solution

With Acronis Disk Director i have created a rescue media disk for emergency.
Today I needed to boot from this disk and it doesn't work. The bios settings for booting are ok.

1. look for a CD/DvD
2. internal disk
3. USB disk

How can I boot from the rescue media?

You could try downloading the ISO image file for DD10 from your account and see if this works for you. I am assuming you created a rescue disk via the bootable media builder available with DD10. The downloaded ISO image file provides an alternative.

In addition, if you are using a wireless mouse, you may want to use a wired one.

It would also be useful to know how far the bootable media gets to. Do you see anything at all on the screen? Do you see some messages and then it hangs? Do you see any kind of splash screen?

I tried to download the iso image file from my account! it isn't possible!

Starting with the self created media doesn't change anything. The windows system starts.
First I thought that it was a problem of the bios but boot devices are set well.

Obviously the iso image is defect!

There is no problem to download iso images for linux, to burn them and finally start them.

The ISO image file works fine for me, so I don't think the file is fundamentally defective. If Windows is starting, perhaps the ISO image was not properly transferred to the CD. I use Nero Express which handles ISO images properly.

I had burned a rescue media some months ago and it worked fine. Simply the idea that it would be useful to have the newest SW on that media
let me try to burn it again. The new one was done well but I cannot use it! It simply doesn't start! I did it again and the same result...
