[BUG] DASHBOARD - view is inconsistent when a job has been cancelled

Thread needs solution

ATIH 2016 b5620

I am browsing through my bug reports from the BETA and still find this one to be unsolved.

A cancelled job will not be shown in the dashboard, the dashboard will show a non consistent information that appears like if there was no job cancelled.

Initially reported 19.06.2016.

I agree. I submitted a support request regarding this problem. So far it is unresolved.

Hello, Karl!

Please help me understand the issue here. Wht you're saying is that if you have cancelled (stopped) a running task, then in the family dashboard it should say something like "Backup was stopped". Is that correct?

Dmitry, Karl's problem my be different from mine.

No, when you create a backup and delete it for whatever reason it still shows up on the dashboard. The dashboard isn't communicating with the application to delete the backup. I've ran Acronis Cleanup Tool and performed a clean installation. This seems to have fixed the problem. I deleted the old SUPERCOMPTER4 that is now showing offline. Refer to attached screenshots.

I think this problem was caused by upgrading from ATI 2015 to ATI 2016. I'm having the exact same problem with all eight of my other computers.

Hello Dmitry, yes that is what I am asking for. Currently the dashboard will not show this - imho quite relevant - information. And is just able to report back 2 states:

successful or errors. Thank you very much for considering a change. To be honest I find the dashboard is an excellent addition to the product and use it quite often to get a overview about all protected systems. So indeed it deserves this name.

Karl, I have forwarded your suggestion to the development team

Thank you Dmitry!

@Acronis Team: this problem still exists

Steps to reproduce:

start a non cloud backup force interuption or cancel the job

view in Dashboard is not refreshing. Except the status is "backup complete". I fear at the moment the dashboard is not working correctly or either ATIH is not sending a report in case of an error.

Actually refresh on the dashboard took a lot of time.

now it says: backup completed with warnings, which is still wrong. Still I am not able to open any log file
