Delete Backup

Thread needs solution

I am trying to delete a backup.  The user guide says I shoud go to BACKUPS and right click in backup in the My Backups list.  I cannot find a My Backups list.

In ATI, backups are tasks, not the individual file creating by running the task once. THe list of backup tasks is on the left of the UI in the backup tabs.

If you want to delete a backup file, you have to know what you are doing, because if you delete the wrong file, you might lose the entire backup.

To delete a backup version, you have to do it manually, because, unlike in previous versions, there is no such a command in ATI 2016. After you have deleted the version manually, launch ATI and choose to recover files. The software will detect a version is mission. Choose to ignore that missing version and things should be OK.

Why then does the user guide refer to a list titled "My Backups" that is supposed to be displayed when you click on "Backup"?

Hello, Ed.

Looks like the User Guide has not been updated to reflect the new user interface. I have reported the issue to the responsible party.

The "My Backups" list is simply the list of backup tasks you see when you open the Backup section. See attached screenshot.
