[SOLVED] chinese version
I have bought acronis True image 2016 and I received a chinese version. What can I do?

thank you so much for this answer. The problem is I can't contact Acronis .. when I try to send an e-mail they ask for an error code which I don't have because the version is surely perfect in chinese so from their point of view there is no error.. I have also tried by phone and still there are blocages of sorts. Any idea how I can do.. ? thanks a lot. I feel very distressed with this problem..

Have you tried installing? According to Acronis it should install to the language of the operating system.

But I have installed. With the link they gave me when I pruchased acronis. With the key etc..
The problem is, in the chinese interface, there is not the globe as shown in the link you sent me. I send you a creen capture so you can figure out.
As you can see my system is visible down at the right FR for french..
And I still don't know how I can contact acronis to solve this issue. If you have any idea...

I would simply go to the Windows Control Panel => Add/Remove programs and uninstall the Acronis software that you have now. You have a license key so it should not be a problem to reinstall it.
You could try to download the free trial version of Acronis TrueImage 2016 directly from the Acronis Site: http://www.acronis.com/en-eu/personal/computer-backup/ That way you know it is the official software.
See if you can get the trial version installed with French language. If that works, I believe you can activate it as a full version with your current license key.
If it still shows up in Chinese, perhaps you can try the uninstaller from https://kb.acronis.com/content/48668 . It is for Acronis 2015, not 2016, and I read that it will now completely uninstall everything from ATI 2016, but since you are going to reinstall ATI 2016 I do not think it matters much. Hopefully it will uninstall whatever it is that causes your install choose Chinese language instead of French.

I would first try to register the product. https://www.acronis.com/en-us/my/products/registration/
You can then go to acronis and select "My Account" at the top right. If the language is not correct on this screen you can click your name at the top right and change to the correct language. http://www.acronis.com/en-us/
Once you are in your account you should be able to download the program in the language you want using the dropdown box at the top. See image.

Hello,
I just want to tell you that eventually I have been able to solve my chinese version problem.
I have managed to contact acronis and they have solved my problem this morning.
A big high five to acronis.
The staff of the forum can put the banner SOLVED on this issue.
