What is the right way to backup again after a successful disk recovery?

Thread needs solution

Hi!  Here is an example of what I mean:

  • For some reason, I need to recover the system disk to the next to last diff version; this disk was backed up and validated every day (1 full - 4 diff - keep no more than 3 version chains).

  • I recover using the media disk; system disk recovery is successfull.

  • From now on: how can I continue to backup the system disk? Can I continue to use the existing backup job (though its config has been recovered too, but all backups still exist on their own disk)?  Do I need to create a new one (with same options)? Other considerations?

Thanks a lot!

Item 4 at this link can help but also read items 1,2, & 3.  The entire link can help.

I would start over with all new backup tasks plus new backups.  Keep the old but start a new set with new task names and new folders.
