TI keeps opening Explorer file browser in it's backup folder!!??
I upgraded to Windows 10 Home x64, and ATI 2016 a few weeks ago. And I notice that at random times, some program keeps opening the Explorer file browser all by itself. For apparently no reason...
The strange thing is, it is always the same folder! My True Image Backup folder where I keep my backups. WTF!?? I first noticed this about a week ago. It must be something from ATI, but I dont' see any options to turn that on or off.
Any help is appriciated...

Task Settings? Do you mean the Windows Task Scheduler? I don't see anything there for Acronis at all.
I have 5 backups. All are Single(full) backups with no schedule and not validation set for any of them. I just went thought them all 3 times and looked at all of their options.
Yes, this was an upgrade. But I reinstalled Windows 10 from scratch on a clean disk, and ATI 2016 was a full install. Not installed over an existing version.
Where is the log file? I looked in my C:\Program Files (x86)\Acronis\TrueImageHome folders and subfolder and didn't see any log files..
Thanks for your help! ;-)

It just happened again, so I quicly looked in my Event Viewer to see if there were any log events at the same time. There was this one:
Disk 0 has been surprise removed.
Event ID: 157
And a google search found this info. I'm not sure what to make of this. What could be the original cause? I'm hoping that this True Image forum knows a lot about disks and their errors/problems?

I suggest that you visit your disk 0 manufacturer support site and download any diagnostic utility tools available and run such tool against your drive. If the drive is beginning to fail or has physical errors etc. the tool should identify these. You are probably going to have to replace the disk.

Snacko,
In 2015-2016 versions, the logs folder is
C:\PROGRAMDATA\ACRONIS\TRUEIMAGEHOME\LOGS
The log named "service" dated with your backup date is viewable via Windows Notepad.
All contents of the log files viewable in Notepad.
The best method of viewing the logs is to use email notification as part of the backup script so you get an email with the detailed results of the backup.
The email wll provide any errors or much of the data needed to know what the usual happenings during the backup.
