Backup a Machine in an other network-segment

Thread needs solution

Hello,

we have installed Acronis Backup Advanced 11.5.43916 for PC on a Windows 7 x86 PC.
This PC is in the network 10.36.x.x

We would perform a backup from a machine in the network 10.37.x.x

Between the both networks we have a normal hardwarerouter without settings or firewall.
Only the routing!

On the machine we have installed the acronis backup agent
We can ping the machine from the "Acronis-Server" an can make a connection to the machine.
But when we try to start a backup it's loading and loading and loading and nothings happens.

If i take the machine into the network 10.36.x.x everthings working fine.

We also tried it with two different routers between machine and "Acronis-Server"

Anyone an Idea what can be the problem?

best regards

Thomas

Hello Thomas,

Is this a centrallized backup plan? What is the source and destination?

If it is a centralized plan, do the same settings in a local plan work correctly?

Also, what do you mean by "loading and loading"? What is happening exactly in what part of the GUI?

Hello Igor,

at the AMS-Console i click "connect directly" on the machine.
Then if i click "Backup-Schedules and Tasks" the system is loading and after a while i get "not responding" from the program.

I have this problem only if a router is installed between AMS-Server and Machine and they are in different subnets.
I can see the machine and all properties at the AMS-Console but i can't create a Backup-Task or start a Backup!
