Acronis 2010

Thread needs solution

Hello!
I have problem with making backup with my bootable CD.
CD is made by using ISOLoader.bin and BartPE.
in isolinux.cfg i have this command line to run Acronis 2010
KERNEL /Programs/Acronis/tima/kernel.dat
APPEND initrd=/Programs/Acronis/tima/ramdisk.dat vga=0x314 quiet

In BartPE it is working good but linux version showing that it is Trial Version of Acronis.
I also downloaded updates but I getting same error.
One more problem is that I cannot do backup to Acronis Secure Zone from the BartPE.

I created bootable linux based ISO with "Bootable Rescue Media Builder" and I was able to boot and create image of harddrive.

But I still have same problem when booting with isolinux. I added "same" command line as it was in f11.cfg in the clean "Rescue Media" bootable ISO.
KERNEL /Programs/Acronis/kernel.dat /s
APPEND initrd=/Programs/Acronis/ramdisk.dat quiet

Hello Andrei,

Let me assit you.

1. The thing is that kernel.dat and ramdisk.dat that resides in Acronis folder are trial versions. And when you create a bootable CD with Acronis Bootable Media Builder then new non-trial versions will be compiled.

So to fix the issue you need to create an ISO image using Acronis Bootable Media builder (or download it from your account) and then extract ramdisk and kernel files.

2. As for the second issue, could you please let me know what happened exactly? Were there any errors?

We are looking forward to hearing back from you at your earliest convenience.

Thank you.
