 Hello Eros,

Thank you for posting. I am glad to assist you with this issue.

Folder C:\ProgramData\Acronis\BackupAndRecovery\MMS\TasksStorage\ contains the scripts with information about all the tasks in Acronis Backup and Recovery. I never faced the situation when during backup it was necessary to remove the script, it should be happening only when the backup plan is deleted manually or when the agent is deleted from the Acronis Management Server and a centralized backup is automatically removed.

In any case, in order to get rid of the error message I recommend to manually delete the backup plan, the task, the script itself and its registration in the scheduler. Please follow the instructions below.

  1. First of all you have to make sure to which backup task and backup plan this script belongs. To do that, please make sure that on the agent the Acronis Backup and Recovery Command Line Tool is installed and run the following command:
  2. acrocmd list tasks --output=raw

    acrocmd list plans --output=raw

The output will display the tasks/plans with the their GUIDs. Match the script GUID with the one in the error message and find out which backup task and backup plan should be deleted.

  3. Delete the backup plan manually from the management console.
  4. In case if issue persists and you will have to delete the task manually, please do the following:

  5. Delete the backup plan from the command line:
  6. acrocmd delete plan <GUID>

or you can also delete only the disturbing task:

    acrocmd delete task <GUID>

You will find full information on these commands in Command Line Reference.

  7. Make sure that the script file is deleted from the folder C:\ProgramData\Acronis\BackupAndRecovery\MMS\TasksStorage\.
  8. 5. Start the Scheduler Manager with C:\Program Files\Acronis\BackupAndRecovery\schedmgr.exe and make sure that the task is deleted there too:
  9. get list

After that recreate the backup plan. The issue should not be appearing anymore.

If you have any additional questions, let me know.

Thank you.

Hi!
During holidays my True Image 2016 started with this problem. I am receiving warning e-mails every half an hour. There is no job anymore, and I can not find acrocmd enywhere.

Is there a solution?

BR,
Vito

Hello Vitomir,

Thank you for your posting! Please delete all tasks with command task zap, as discribed in the following article: https://kb.acronis.com/content/1859

Thank you,
