Similar post from a while ago - https://forum.acronis.com/forum/32758. Perhaps check and see if the backup .TIB files are correctly labeled.
I've noticed a few times - usually with a drive going bad (bad sectors that can't be read), you may get a backup file that ends with -1, -2, -3, etc, but everything else in the name is exactly the same as another file. This can happen if Acronis is trying to create a .TIB, but fails because it can't read the disk. However, instead of deleting the .TIB where it failed, it tries again, using the exact same name, but appends the -1 on the next try. if it makes it through, the naming scheme will update correctly, but if it fails again, it may leave another partial .TIB witih -2 and so-on. If this is happening, you can "usually" delete the files with the same name, but keep the last of it's kind since that would be the good one.

Ryan,
When using the mount option, mount only the partitions needed. Usually, no need to mount a recovery partion or other partition which does not normally have a drive letter. Options are provided to exclude your choice of partiiton from the mount procedure.
Also, you can normally open Windows Explorer and view the backup contents by double clicking throught the contents of the tib backup file.
This is usally much quicker if you need to just find and restore a couple files.
Your anti-virus can also interfere with the mount option.

Hello, ryan!
Please provide more details. Where is the backup archive located? Does this happen with full/incremental/differential backups?
You said that sometimes it works and sometimes it does not; does this happen with the same archive? Or does it work with some archive and does not work with others?
