HP Pavilion DV73079WM
Win 7
DD2343 and DD3223 both say "cannot find boot partition.

Attempt to run DD3223 under Win 7 DD says "wrong version,,,32 or 64 bit"

Download site has DD2370, no mention of 32 or 64 bit.

I have both 32 and 64 systems.

I just downloaded DD3270 and the DD12 serial number.  Install does not except the serial number.

Hi Ray,

according to our database you have and upgrade serial number of Acronis Disk Director 12. To successfully install the program in this case you'll need to enter first your upgrade serial number and then a serial number of a previous version.

Thank you,

In reviewing the forums, I notice that the   "Acronis Loader fatal error: Boot drive (partition) not found.  Press <enter> to try to boot your OS..."Issue has been common for at least a half dozen years, on both DD and TI.  I also found posts that indicated Acronis had provided information to combine DD, AIK and WinPE so as to provide a better bootable CD.  However, this information was arrarently provided privately and not posted.

I have KB3AIK_EN.ISO.  What else do I need, and how do I process it?

I am trying to move to a replacement PC, and have DD prepare the HDD.  There is an exsisting W7 partition, I want to add other OSs.  DD12 installs on the old mechine with just the DD12 key, but on the new there is an extra box that wants two keys.  Would that be one from DD12 and one from DD10 or DD11?

Hi Ray,

"Acronis Loader fatal error" is to common to say that this is the same issue. Over the years there has been multiple versions of Acronis Loader and the mentioned problem can appear e.g. because of the incompatibility of the particular loader version with particular hardware.

As for serial numbers, yes, after you enter an upgrade serial number the program requests a serial number of a previous version. You can use either of Acronis Disk Director 11 Home Upgrade  or Acronis Disk Director 10.0.

Thank you,
