ATI 2016 trys to restore from WRONG DISK & FOLDER!
I am running ATI 2016 on Windows 10 Home x64.
I have made several backups and restored several times as well with no problems. I noticed a few weeks ago that my disk restore failed because Acronis rebooted and tried to load the backup image from the wrong drive letter! I think at that time I had to boot from a USB stick to select the file manually.
Today I tried to restore the disk from the same backup, and again, it rebooted and failed. It was trying to restore from the Y: drive!? And it also listed the wrong folder!!
I am looking at my backup in Acronis TI right now and it is located here:
E:\True Image Backups\Maximus VIII Extreme\Weekly Backup\
But when it rebooted, the file it was trying to access was located here:
Y:\True Image Backups\Cosmos S x64\Weekly\
Why does it use drive Y:? Why does it use a Drive Letter at all? In windows Disk Management this is Disk 0.
The Folder that it uses is actually in my ATI backup list, right after the one that I am trying to backup. And I just looked into it's folder and the file does not exist. I must have deleted it a while back.. So, I will remove it from Acronis now. And try again.
