How do I stop ATI from running when starting Windows?

Thread needs solution

Hello, I'm new to the forum and hope that someone can help me with an issue that I'm having. I don't seem to be able to find this issue already discussed.

I am running ATI 2016 on a Windows 7 Professional 64 bit system. I have it configured to image my system on a schedule, which is working fine. My problem is that if I shut down and restart my laptop, True Image will run when Windows starts even though no image was previously missed. It also runs immediately (which slows down my boot up) despite my having selected the option for a 15 minute delay on start.

As well, when it runs like this, it doesn't actually create an image but seems to be just validating an image.

I don't see anything in the settings which would let me stop this. Can anyone help me understand why it's doing this, if it's normal or if I can somehow stop it? Thanks!

Select the backup task, click on options, in the schedule panel, choose advanced settings. unchek everything there and see if that makes any difference.

Thanks for the reply Pat. I will try your suggestion. I wondered about what the option "run when the device is attached" is meant to accomplish, and if perhaps that is what's causing this. I have ATI configured to create the images on an external hard drive.

I'll let you know if this fixes things. Appreciate the help.
