Acronis True Image 2016 - what is the BACKUPDATA folder?

Thread needs solution

I have backed up "Entire PC" - to an external (newly formatted) USB HDD in Windows 10. In addition to the .tib (532GB) file is a folder named BACKUPDATA. Is this an index file for the "Entire PC" backup I've just created and is it ok for it to be moved to another folder for example? Thank-you...

The external USB HDD I'm using as a backup device is a ClickFree C6 2TB drive - I've just figured out that the BACKUPDATA folder was automatically created by the Clickfree backup software contained within the drive's EFI. Because I want this drive to play nice with ATI, I've just selected to exclude everything on my main HDD from the Clickfree backup - via the Clickfree interface and I left that BACKUPDATA folder in place... It's nothing to do with ATI but for others who wish to use a Clickfree USB drive as an ATI backup destination, this comment might be useful.
