Recuse disk ISO file does not fit on a CD
Isn't this kind of stupid (look at the image)?
The image is 748 MB. CD is max 702 MB
Now what?
(and all of this just because Clone Disk hangs after reboot in 9/10 tries)

Yup, that's pretty much how it goes if you use the bootable recovery media builder directly in Acronis True Image Home.
However, you can (and probably should) download and install Acronis Universal Restore if you haven't already as it is an add-on Acronis that comes with your purchase adn should be available under downloads when you log into your account.
Using Universal Restore, you can also easily build an offline bootable recovery media with all of your products. However, this one lets you pick and choose certain ones. I usually leave off System Report (32 and 64 bit) as I rarely use it and it eats up space - Take those 2 off and/or the 32 or 64 bit of other products (whichever ones you don't need) and you will reduce the size even more - you can have a fully 32 bit only recovery media or a fully 64 bit recovery media at about 400MB which will fit easily onto a CD.

But its so close to fit on a CD. Why don't make an effort to gain those few bytes to make it fit?

The application is just a certain size, that unfortunatey, doesn't fit on a standard CD by itself if you take the default Linux version when you create bootable recovery media throug Acronis. Again though, you can use the universal restore bootable media creator to do the same thing and it let's you pick and choose which applications you want to add so you can trim things down. Honestly, you don't really need system report on your bootable media unless you're having trouble so get rid of it and you'll be fine on space. Also, you really don't need any 64-bit versions. Acronis 32-bit boots on both 32 and 64 bit systems and works fine so you can save space there too, but you have to use the universal restore media builder if you want to pick and choose. You have several options now, up to you if you want to use them or not, but it's not going to fit on a 702MB CD with the default bootable media creator option in ATIH.
