Cloud backup schedule

Thread needs solution

Was trying to find some doc on website that tells me how the cloud backup works schedule wise. I have used Ture image to my external drive for years. With regard to using the cloud I assume an initial 100% backup is done. What happens after that? My Mozy checks multiple times a day to see if any files are changed and backs up those that have changed or are new. What does Acronis Cloud do in this regard?

Please see the documentation for Acronis True Image 2016 which has a comprehensive description of the Acronis Cloud aspect of this product.  By definition, you define what the backup schedule will be when you choose what backup scheme you wish to use and how often etc.  This obviously will require that you create an initial full backup for the system, partition or drives etc that you choose to backup to the cloud.

There is a discussion in the user guide documentation regardling Acronis Cloud cleanup and data protection (using encryption if required), plus there is also an Acronis Fair Usage agreement that needs to be observed if you set an agressive schedule.

In essence, you are in control of how you use the Acronis Cloud just as you are for making local backups, the only real difference being the location of where the backup is being stored and the time required to upload that data via your broadband provider service.
