10 File ?

Thread needs solution

True Image Home has started saving the back up file as a "10 File" rather than an "Acronis True Image Backup Archive." This just started about a week ago and previous back ups were completed without a hitch. The file size is about right, but when I tried to run a validation it doesn't even list the 10 File. Also, the back up process is now taking a very long time.

Any suggestions?

Let me assist you.

As fars as I understand, Acronis True Image created files not with .tib extension, but with .10? Or created files are shown as '10 file' in Windows Explorer?

If it's the second case, then there's something wrong with Acronis True Image Backup Archive Explorer module. To fix the issue you need to re-install the software from scratch.
