True Image Home 2010 New Trail Install - Windows will not boot

Thread needs solution

I just installed the trial software for True Image Home 2010 on my Windows XP system. I rebooted after the apparently successful install as required. The Acronis loader invoked the trial utilities successfully. I didn't execute any of them except to look at their initial menus. Then I exited to Windows. Windows won't come up. I get only a blinking cursor. No errors, no splash pages nothing. It just hangs. If I control alt delete, it reboots OK and continues to successfully invoke the Acronis utilities, but I can't exit to Windows XP. I would like to disable the boot hook, and bring up windows so that I can uninstall the trial software. Can someone help me with that? Thanks in advance

Don, perhaps if you eject and remove the standalone CD/ROM containing the utilities, that is being booted, you'll be able to initialize Windows normally. Really, you sometimes scare me Don.

Nevermind.
