Is the user interface in TIH 2016 actually better than the user interface in TIH 2015 ? Any views on this ? I realise that if you want to run TIH on Windows 10 you have no choice as the only solution is TIH 2016

User interface is nearly identical - not much has changed in appearance between 2015 and 2016. I think we'll continue to see more of the current scheme in the future, but the MVP program has been pushing to bring back more of the older things we're still missing (like logging and the ability to manually groom out certain backup chains, etc - hopefully we see those in 2017, but it's up to Acronis to implement).
With 2016, you're also getting better driver support in the default Linux bootable media (next update should hopefully be out this month with support for PCIE NVME hard drives, flash based eMMC hard drives, and updated Intel NIC's). 2016 currently has better compatability with Windows 6.0 ADK (for Windows 10) with the Acronis WinPE media builder as well and that is currenlty needed for these types of drives until the drivers are added to the default Linux bootable recovrey media (again though - fingers crossed, we'll see that happen this month).

Bobbo - thank you for your helpful response. As I have TIH 2015 on one pc and TIH 2011 on another (and Windows 7 professional on both pc's) I don't think TIH 2016 offers me much at the moment. At some point in the next couple of years or so I will be purchasing replacement pc's and they will be Windows 10 ..... so I'll then get TIH xxxx (whatever version it will be then) and instal on the new machines. I have to say that I find TIH 2011 provides a much better GUI than TIH 2015. Also I miss the file shredder that was provided as part of TIH 2011.
