cannot acces acronis agent web page

Thread needs solution

im trying to access wepage and i can't 

i can ping the adress

before everythin was working fine

ive seen there is a new update that was out february 24 

before i leave for vacation everything was working fine

can someone help me

Hi Patrick,

The symptoms are typical for cases when appliance local disks are full with /var/log/messages or /tmp/core files taking most of the space. This causes the configuration files to be truncated (/etc/lighttpd/lighttpd.conf in particular) and thus web service fails to start properly. Please see the solutions described in https://kb.acronis.com/content/32819 which should help in your case.

Thanks it worked but now ive have problem with some of my task

Hi Patrick,

In some cases when appliance disks are overfilled, the corruption affects not only lighttpd.conf file (which I assume was 0 size in your case) but scheduling information for tasks as well which causes the error you quoted. Modifying them manually is a relatively complex task - there are half-truncated files (typical size of non-healthy truncated file is 4096b) like /var/lib/Acronis/Scheduler/tasks/user1/[taskID]/[taskID].tsk which can be manually edited/fixed via WinSCP text editor (the missing strings should be copied from healthy tasks), so I'd recommended contacting our support team for assistance. Remember to export your appliance into an .ovf template via vSphere client and be ready to upload it for fixing.
