How to remove the sign in screen.

Thread needs solution

When I open my ATI program I get the sign in (cloud) screen.  I dont use it, so its one more "X" to click to get to the main screen.

Plus - I miss not seeing my list of previous back ups, as with older versions of ATI.  Is there a way to fix that too?

Seth, the simplest way to stop seeing the sign-in screen each time you launch ATIH 2016 is to enter your normal Acronis Account user name (email address) and password, this will be remembered and the application will then open to your list of backups without asking again.

Signing in also has the advantage of allowing the application to check for any updates to your product.  You do not need to use the Cloud to sign in this way.

If you click on the Person icon after signing in, you will see confirmation of your activation status, plus can display your serial number etc.

OK - thanks.

What about the other?

If you click on the carat \/ to the right of the "add backup" option, you can manually import old backup so thye show up in the console

Dont see the " carat \/ to the right of the "add backup" option, you can manually import old backup so thye show up in the console ."

So once you're past the cloud login screen, where you would normally start a new backup with the "plus + " sign, to the right of that there is no " \/ "carat like the screenshot in my last post?

If not, I would say something did not complete in your install and would suggest running the installer again and then selecting to "repair" when given the option to see if that brings this functionality to your application as it should be there.

oh - that.  Yes I did.  Since I did not see the list of all my back ups - well not like the older versions of True Image, I thought I missed something.

So I guess I can only add an older backup one at a time.

For now yes. We're hoping this behavior will change in later releases to allow for selection folders again though.
