Can't Recover Old Backups after Upgrade

Thread needs solution

Had to do a clean install to upgrade to Build 6559 yesterday. I now notice that ATI 2016 is not seeing backup files before the upgrade. I don't know if its relevant but when I installed the new version, I configured it to do chain version backups vs the incremental scheme I had used before. Is there a way to access the old backups?

Thanks, Bob

You can add the old backups by clicking the (V) carat at the bottom of the Task List in the GUI and selecting Add existing backup.  Browse to the backup location and select to add to the BAckup List.  Do so for each backup desired.

Great. It looks like I can only add one backup at a time - I can't use ctrl of shift key to select multiple backups. Is that a limitation or am I missing something?

Thanks, Bob

You are correct.  Currently, there is no way to add multiple backups at one time.  This has been somethign we've brought up in the MVP forums and are hoping to see brought back again soon too (in 2014 and earlier you could at least specifiy a location to search for backups at could change that location when desired).  Please submit feedback through the app or your online account - the more people we get to submit this type of feedback directly to Acronis, the more likely we're to see it changed in future releases (and hopefully sooner than later too).
