Acronis True Image Unlimited -> EndOfLife -> free upgrade to Acronis 2016 fails to S/N Cloud

Hi

as topic describes i have 2 licenses:

True Image Home 2015 PC + Mac 3 PC DE
True Image Home 2015 Ultimate 1 PC  DE
 

thought i would be able to access latest 2016 with the 2015 unlimited" license as proposed. Support told me few weeks ago this was end-of-life so it's a crap when selling a product as "ultimate" lifetime upgrades-free if then few months later this option is end-of-lifed/end-of-sale...

so i was browsing yesterday on acronis website and saw "free upgrade", i just entered by ultimate S/N as upgrade license and i was presented with another S/N pointing to my Acronis True Image Cloud - which expired in november 2015.

so after upgrading Acronis 2015 to latest 2016 build i was presented with 30days eval of 2016 and entered as adviced my provided new S/N (which i was able to register aswell) . But it says "oh sorry, it's cloud and expired".

so what's next , uninstalling everything and install 2015 back again and staying on this older version=?

im feeling just fooled by acronis.

i checked my registered products again and just see "Acronis 2016" as registered (upgraded..) license . but im presented with "cloud warning expired" when opening the tool.

so im not interested in cloud backups as i never used them , only local backups, so why im not able to create local backups anymore? im still feeling fooled a little bit as im now stuck in a program i free upgraded from 2015 to 2016 and forced to by some maintenance. 

so how i can create local backups again?
