Universal Restore Failure - cannot find driver
When running the UR we get the message 'cannot find device drivers 'PCI \VEN_8086&DEV_3A02&SUBSYS_304817AA&REV_02'
We have backed up all the drivers from the PC to be recovered on a flash drive, but it doesn't seem to find the correct one.
Don't know what to do next.

I checked the target PC BIOS and it was set set to AHCI mode.

Steve, I am a little puzzled by the initial statement in your first post:
We have backed up all the drivers from the PC to be recovered on a flash drive,
What are you actually trying to do here that requires Universal Restore?
You shouldn't need to have all the drivers included on your UR media, only those which are essential to allow you to boot a restored backup image taken from different hardware on the new hardware where it has been restored, i.e. specific disk drive device drivers. The majority of other drivers should be found when the new system is booted.

The driver file for the AHCI controller needs to be in either .inf, .sys, or .oem format to be used by UR. You need to extract these files from the driver package which contains them such as is found on a motherboard install CD or downloaded from a manufacturer support site.

We are trying to restore a True Image backup from one PC to another. After our initial failure (pC won't boot to Windows) with the missing PCI .... error, we decided to copy all of the drivers from the original PC onto a flash to use during the recovery. We also went to the Lenovo site and got a driver for the chip set (our original assumption of where the problem was). That didn't help either.
We have just started using the product and we are testing all recovery scenarios. Normal recover to the same PC with a new HDD works great. But when we try to recover to this particular Lenovo we keep getting the same error.
I greatly appreciate your interest in helping us.

I think you may be correct. The folder with the chipset data is not any of those file types. It appears that you have to go through a setup process on those files. Which I will work on
However, I took another Lenovo and did a restore from my Acer and that did work! (all be it with a few error message from Windows that non-critical hardware needs a new driver). That I can recover from.
THanks very much.
