Acronis 2016 and M2 SSD Possible?
Hi,
we are using Acronis for a long time in our company.
We currently updated to Acronis 2016.
Now i wanted to create a backup of a new notebook (Thinkpad P50) with installed M2 SSD (NVMe).
It seems that the drivers for the disc are missing in Acronis. It can't detect my harddisc.
Is it possible to create an image with Acronis 2016 Update #2?
Is there an other chance to perform a system backup?
Regards

Thanks for the quick answer.
It seems that the update solves the problem...

FYI, there's a new relase of v6571 out as of today too. As far as rescue media goes though, v6569 is working on all drives I've thrown at it so may not be critical for you to upgrade to v6571 other than the bug fixes and improvements in the Windows application of the product.

After reciently updating Acronis TI 2016 to build 6569 on my Windows 7 Pro PC, build 6571 was announced. Now, when I start Acronis, it gives the option to update to the 6571 build. Is it safe to update to this new build now, or should I wait a little longer

Charles, I have updated two of my Win 10 systems to 6571 without any issues, though I have responded to other users in the forum who have hit the 'Access denied' issue and have needed to do a clean install of the update.
The 6571 is only fixing one specific issue as described in post: https://forum.acronis.com/forum/119382 so you may want to hold off a while longer if concerned.

I had no issue upgrading to v6571. I tend ot like having the most current version - just in case, but in this update, only a specific bug was fixed and if you aren't having issues opening or closing the application in Windows, you can probably hold off.
FYI, for me. all upgrades have gone fine. However, I always download the full upgrade installer from my account, right click the installer file and "run as administrator" after verifying that no existing backups are currently in progress. Going this route, upgrades have gone off without a hitch and is the method I will continuse using since it has been so stable.
