AIT 2016 Install Help

Thread needs solution

I am trying to load AIT 2016 to my computer but I keep getting a dependency service does not exist or has been marked for deletion. I am going from AIT 2014 to AIT 2016. I am running Windows XP Embedded SP3. I uninstalled AIT 2014 already. Any help I can get will be much appreciated.

Robert,

In addition to the uninstall, you need to run an Acronis cleanup utility.  Steve Smith explains in the link below.  His signature block has the link for the cleanup utility.

I tried using the cleanup utility and an error came up saying that the framedyn.dll was not found.

Robert,

Try the solution offered here.

Enchantech,

I have tried your suggestion and it still did not work. Thanks for the suggestion.

Do you have 2014 install media still (download from you account)? You could try a repair install with it and/or uninstall first.  If not successful, try booting to safemode first and see if it helps.
