Error after restore
I backup once two weeks with TI 2016 (Win 10). No problem for backup and restsore in the past. I restored the latest backup this weekends. I only restore C-windows kpartion only. When booting, I got an error:
Windows cannot find 'C:\ xxxxxxx \Local\Temp\Window Explorer\explorer.exe'
I tried to backup a much eariler tib backup file. I got the same error (In the past I did not have such error in the past). I even ran scannow. It did not sovle the problem.
When I check with other windows 10 computer, I could not locate Windows cannot find 'C:\ xxxxxxx \Local\Temp\Window Explorer\explorer.exe'.
Could someone advise me how this error popped up on myu computer and how to fix it ? Thanks.

No. The computer unhidden all hidden files. That is not issue.
When I check my other Windows 10 computer, Explorer.exe is located at c:\Windows\SysWOW64\explorer.exe not in 'C:\ xxxxxxx \Local\Temp\Window Explorer\explorer.exe'. So the error is very weird.

Jorge, from seeing your error message:
Windows cannot find 'C:\ xxxxxxx \Local\Temp\Window Explorer\explorer.exe'
I would strongly suggest that you perform a full system scan with your antivirus program, an offline scan is recommended using the AVG Rescue CD / USB tool.
When I have seen such executable programs in temporary folders, it has normally indicated malware activity masquerading as valid Windows programs.
The reason why you are getting this message is that there is an entry in the Windows registry or startup list that is trying to run this program from an invalid location, and fortunately, your Acronis backup default exclusions has not saved the data from this Temp location!

I concur with Steve here on this. The location for explorer.exe is wrong so a malware scan would be in order.

Thanks for all comments. I use ESET 2016 antivirus program.
Malware makes sense. Thanks again.
