Acronice True Image 2016 Boot Disk is bypassed at boot time
Build 6571
Acronis 2016 Boot Media (DVD) is not recognised at boot computer turn on, even though the DVD/CD drive is selected as first boot drive in the BIOS.
Other DVD/CD disks I have are recognised at boot time, so I am in a dilema as to why Acronice True Image 2016 Boot Disk is bypassed.

Thank you Bobbo for your help. I have made a USB boot, and I have been able to boot from it. Many thanks for your help and advice. It is most appreciated.

Rod M,
Glad to help out. I much prefer the USB option as it seems to be more compatible these days anwyay... a lot of tablets, ultrabooks and even laptops don't have access to a disc drive anymore. For those tablests that only have a micro USB, you can get a micro to full size usb adapter and use it with a hub and basically run your laptop like a laptop after that too.
