Sending email to outlook.com

Thread needs solution

Hi,  I am having great trouble sending an email to my outlook.com email address.  I have filled in the fields as best as I can determine from various posts but still cannot get it to work.

Allan, please see webpage: http://windows.microsoft.com/en-GB/windows/outlook/send-receive-from-app and in particular, change your port for TLS from 465 to 587 as documented on the webpage.  This worked for me when I just tested it.

Steve, thanks, it worked.

My outlook account had been changed (by microsoft) from microsoft live to microsoft mail (ie it is now on an exchange server) and my old notification stopped working.
