Acronis TI 2016 Build 6571
I am running Acronis TI 2016 build 6559 on my two PCs running Windows 7 Pro. Would it be advisable to update to build 6571? Is it necessary to delete my build 6559 prior to going to 6571, or can I just do an update when starting my present leve 6559.
Thanks for your assistance

Thanks for your reply. I usually try to go to the latest level to avoid problems, but as you stated, there is no good reason to go to v6571 if I do not have a problem launching or closing the application. I have been burned in the past by going from TI 2014 (which worked great for me) to TI 2015 that gave me all kinds of problems. So far, my 2016 version appears to be OK. I only do full backups once a month, and hope a restore if needed will work OK.

Yeah, at this time, sounds like you are fine sticking at v6569 then.
Just a suggestion, but if you only backup monthly, perhaps consider a full offline backup with your recvoery media from time to time too. I like being able to take backup completely outside of Windows where there is no possible interference from third party applications, malwarey, antivirus programs, Windows Services that are in use, etc. Backups in Windows are fine (usually), but there is more going on that has the potential to cause problems so an offline backup may be more reliable or at least a failsafe.
Plus, if you're not familiar with the bootable recovery media, you should start to learn it. It's your best friend if Windows won't start and you have to restore. Better to know how to use it before you have an emergency that requires it.
