Backup Monitoring does not stay disabled

Thread needs solution

No matter how many times I go in and Disable Backup Monitoring, it always comes back on after restarting Acronis Drive Monitor. How can I permanently Disable Backup Monitoring?
I am using XP SP3 Home.

Kurt,

Do you use an account with administrative privileges?
Try to change it under Administrator. This should work.

The problem is back again. For some reason, it is monitoring backups now, which was never selected. The program is running as the Administrator.

I just turned backup monitoring off, and now it is back on AGAIN. There is something wrong with this program.

Kurt,

Do you have a repro scenario for this issue (list if steps which resets monitoring to "enabled')?
We have been reported that sometimes backup monitoring returns to default (enabled) state on its own, but were not able to catch it yet.

Same problem here.

XP SP3 Pro

- Admin disable
- Login User : backup callecting
- /!\ Backup: warnings
- doppelcick on symbol as user
- Backup is deactivated ?!?
