Getting Message "Trial-Version" when restoring [solved]

Thread needs solution

Hello,
I am using ATI since Version 8 but now i have an issue first time.

I had purchased ATI 2015 with Universal-restore and installed the packages "AcronisTrueImage_full_6525_de-DE" and its related packages. As I wanted to recover from a backup with a linux based bootable media, i got the message "This is a Trial - Version, please purchase..."

In the knowledgebase I found article 50174  with the solution:

Solution

The issue has been fixed in Update 2, please download the new build (both for the product and for the Universal Boot from your account on Acronis webseite).

So I removed ATI completely and installed

  • AcronisTrueImage2015_6613_de-DE
  • AcronisTrueImage2015_addons_de-DE
  • AcronisTrueImage2015_ur_de-DE

activated it sucessfully and created the bootable media (32 and 64 bit with Universal-restore) new.

When i start to "safe delete" using 32 bit I get the message "This is a trial version..."

Is it a bad joke?

What is the "Update 2" - never had seen it and couldn't find it in my account to download it.

Thank you for your answers in advance.

Problem solved:

I booted from default "Acronis Bootable Media.iso" instead of the self created "UniversalRestore.iso" on a Multi-Boot-Stick.

Sorry for the inconvenience.
