Cannot connect to localhost

Thread needs solution

hello,

I just did a fresh installation of windows 10 pro, and install the ABR  10  build 13762 (the latest one ).

Installation was smooth, but i got error message "cannot connect to localhost" (attached file)

I tries to repair with the installation file, tries to uninstall an reinstall again (all done with system restrat between actions). I tries to use a new account and existing  one, which is administrator, but no lock.

whe i went to services and tries to start the "acronis manage machine service" i got error 1075: the depenency service does not exist or has been marked for deletion" (attached file). when i check, all dependency serviers are in place and running, and the mms.exe file also in the correct place.

Any help?

Hello yrndtn,

Thank you for your posting! Unfortunately Acronis Backup&Recovery Workstation is not compatible with Windows 10. Here you'll find the full list of support operating systems.

Thank you,

Thanks for the reply, but the same thing happen to me with Windows 7 and i couldnt work things out, that why I install Windows 10.

"Protected Storage" doesn't exist on Windows 10, that's why mms service doesn't start. What errors did you get on Windows 7?
