restore to drive T

Thread needs solution

It is a long story , but....

i have my images of the OS . when i open the image it says it is on drive T. My OS is currently on drive E.

can i restore that drive that image?

You can definitely restore that image and it will keep the current drive letter assignment.

If I misunderstood your question and you are using our recovery CD which uses Linux environment, drive letter representation differs to that of Windows. You can always take a look at this article for more details.

i am using windows xp. my OS is on drive E. of a partioned disk. for some reason, my backup image is organized around "T" when i open it and look at the file structure

In order to make sure that I have not misunderstood the question, please creation screenshots of the Windows Disk Management window and also of the open .tib file. You can forward them to me via a private message.

Just in case, if you are using Acronis True Image 2010 Home and perform a recovery in Windows, you can change the drive letter manually. Please check this screenshot for more details.
