Acronis True Image
Good morning! I have a lenovo laptop that runs win7 g50-45, for wanting to create an image with Acronis True Image. Start booting it, but "locks" to the "Loading, please wait ...". Mention that the boot is made with a stick, and it was tested on a Samsung (do not know now what model) and a HP Pavilion and everything is ok.
Via BIOS settings need something?
Thank you!

You will probably need to create WinPE Rescue Media with the necessary device drivers for your hard drives for this to work correctly, and ideally that WinPE media should be created on the Lenovo G50-45 itself from within Windows 10 as you also will need to install the Windows ADK to create WinPE boot media.
You could try changing the BIOS to use legacy mode as per the G50 User Guide in Chapter 4 - Troubleshooting section but that is no guarantee that the standard ATIH 2015 rescue media (linux based) will work with this laptop.
I hit similar problems with a new Lenovo B50 laptop and ended up using ATIH 2016 WinPE Rescue Media in the end as I was not able to do this with 2015, though that was over 9 months ago.
Note: With these new Lenovo laptops to get into BIOS you have a pin-hole button on the side of the laptop that you push the end of a paper clip into - Lenovo call it the Novo button. The alternative method is to go into the Windows 10 Advanced Startup option (Update & Security, then Recovery from the PC Settings) which can also let you boot into the BIOS settings panel.

Please make sure secure boot is disabled as well. If it is on, you will not be able to boot to any external bootable devices.

Hi there
I am trying to clone the operating system on my HP desktop. I created the Bootable Rescue DVD, and used it to get into UEFI where I chose the option 1. Acronis True Image WD Edition. However, as it was loading it showed Runtime Error 0x40001. I didn't have time to write down the line info. After the Runtime Error it then goes to the login screen.
I'm running Windows 8.1 and a desktop, rather than a laptop. Please can you let me know how I can deal with this error and clone my computer.
Thanks for your help.
