Can't Open Backup - Versions Missing
I'm using True Image 2014. I have, in the past, had to recreate my backup from scratch. The reason doesn't matter, I just have. When I do this, I have tried to rename the backup and restart the version number; however, I could never get that to take. All it it was restart the same backup and continue on in the version number chain.
I'm in a position now where I need to recover from the backup. When I attempt to open the data backup I'm presented with a message indicating that version XX is not available. I click 'Skip' with all the ones it can't find. When that process is complete, I'm presented with a message that the backup cannot be accessed because there are missing versions.
Solution?

Thanks, Steve. I'll try the validation and see what happens. Understood that no information can be missing from the chain in incremental backups. That shouldn't be a problem. When I tried to start from scratch I deleted the previous iterations so it had to create the initial backup as the entire data set. There's nothing missing after that.
