Hello Pascal!

Welcome to our Forum, we're happy to greet you here! I understand the problem and will be glad to assist.

It's hard to say for sure, but it looks like our OS Patcher glitch. In order to resolve or at least localise the issue we can update autosid by updating PXE bootable components (I'll send you the instructions via Private Message in a minute). After you follow the instructions and update PXE, redeploy the image and check whether the issue persists.

Should it remain, please gather the following information:

  1. OS Deploy Server logs
  2. Deploy Agent logs
  3. OS Patcher logs:
       1. Please send us a copy of %Windows%\Debug\ folder from the restored system (after boot up) and the logs of Snap Deploy "patcher", the names of which look like "os_patcher[dd.mm.yy].log" and are located in %Windows%\System32\ folder.
       2. If there is a window with message saying that the system is being patched and it prevents you from logging into Windows, then please click on the red "X" to close the window. This should allow you to log into the system.

After that please kindly contact support directly with the information attached (it will speed up the process of resolution). Keep in mind that should there be any procrastination with the reply, you can always specify us the case number. We will do our best to speed up the process.

Should you need anything else or have any further questions - feel free to contact us at your earliest convenience, we will be happy to help you!

Thank you!

I am having the same problem. Where can I get the update for PXE bootable components?

Also, This is Windows 7 and I have ran sysprep on the image.

***Update*** I just tried it with an image without running sysprep and it still gives me this error.

Thanks

-Braydon

 Hello Braydon!

Thank you for finding time to join us, we're glad to greet you here! I entirely understand your concern and will be glad to assist you.

I will send you the PXE update in a minute via Private Message: please follow the instructions and see wherther the issue persists. Should it remain, please follow the instructions mentioned in this comment for gathering the diagnostic information.

I would appreciate if you could keep us posted: this will allow us to provide you with further assistance, if required!

Please also keep in mind that syspreped image has its own limitations of deployment: Acronis Snap Deploy cannot generate SIDs, DNS or computer names, domain or workgroup memberships, or apply Acronis Universal Deploy to such image. You can find more information about it in this KB article

Should you have any additional quesitons or concerns - don't hesitate to share them with us, we will be glad to help!

Thank you!

Please send instructions for fix.

Andrew, in a minute or two I will send you additional instructions, if you have any problems, let me know please.

Thank you.

Hello Patrick,

Thank you for posting. I will definitely help you with this.

I will send you the instructions in a few moments.

Please let me know if you have additional questions.

Thank you.

The problem is that i.m currently using build 3427 of the product and that you want me to put build 3329 over a newer one i don.t think that this gonna fix my problem.

Hi Pirre,

I'm sorry I can't help with the patch. I've downloaded the Universal Snap & Deploy upgrade, but I can't install it because I'm not using a server to deploy my images. I tried to install the new universal upgrade, but it told me I had to do so from the deployment server. I've given up using the Universal Snap & Deploy version for now and now only using the standalone Snap & Deploy.

Debbie
