Red Dot Error Using Clone Disk Utility

Thread needs solution

Acronis True Image 2016 (Build 6571)
Windows 10 Pro 64-bit

I am using the Clone Disk Utility in the Acronis application.

3TB K:, Source GPT data (non-boot), one partition
4TB X:, Target GPT data (non-boot)

Using a Manual clone, I select Proportional.
The Summary screen shows the following:

Before
X: (Basic GPT) 3.639 TB NTFS

After J: (Basic GPT)
J: (Basic GPT) 2.729 TB NTFS There is a red dot. Why is it J: instead of X:?
Unallocated 931.5GB

I then tried the Manual instead of Proportional.
The target drive error was
"File system error: Unable to create volume snapshot"
Why?

Why is it J: instead of X:?

Note: I ran chkdsk and S.M.A.R.T diagnostic on the Source disk.
Note: I ran S.M.A.R.T diagnostic on the Target disk.

Thanks in advance.

The drive letter is different in Windows because you can only have one active volume letter at a time. Upon completion of the clone, it would still be C.

Please don't start your clone from within Windows and due follow the cloning advice noted here:

This could be related to a difference in logical sector size between the disks. Reference the link below:
