Scheduler didn't wake Windows 10 from sleep
I have selected the option for 'Wake up the sleeping/hibernating computer' and tried to test that last night. Backup is scheduled for 11:00pm, put the computer to sleep at 10:30pm. Didn't wake the computer and no backup was performed.
I am running Windows 10 Anniversary update. Does anybody know if this has anything to do with Windows 10 'Fast Start'? I have that enabled.
Does the program interface have to be loaded for this to work? Only my Background services were running.
Thanks.

Bruce:
Also check whether Wake Timers are enabled in Power Options. See the attached screenshot.

Thanks, I haven't been paying attention to this for a few days. Tonight, I will check the behavior and try your reboot suggestion. I have the run at system system startup setting enabled.

My backup worked last night. It woke up Windows and performed the backup.
The one thing I had unchecked is the option to perform a backup only when the computer is idle. Maybe the problem was that the computer was waking up (at 1 am), but the backup never got started because something was preventing the computer from being 'idle.' After two hours, the computer just went to sleep again, and it looks like nothing ever happened.

Bruce, I stopped enabling the option to only backup when the computer is idle as this never seemed to get to where the computer would be idle so the backups didn't run.

I like this Acronis so far. It doesn't seem to slow my system down at all. Even when a backup is going in the background, I can still work OK.
